An
older piece, one I even hesitate to date. Strolling Florence on a bright June
day, I stopped and peered into this simple and wonderful courtyard. Quiet,
warm, blue and a hint of mystery. I lingered and exposed one image. One can
feel the warm breeze and tantalizing aromas coming through the cool walkway.
The old clay urns give
the image
a stability,
and the green foliage grows contently in the shadows. If you’ve been to
Florence, you may recognize the emotions and remember this type of scene hidden
deep inside the old meandering streets. If you haven’t been to Florence, “A
Florence Feeling” should help you decide to go. Hang it in a sunny part of a
room, or near an open window.
