After five cats I couldn’t
fathom a sixth entering the
home. You would think the
other five would feel left
out. As it turns out, after
quickly adapting to the
other personalities in the
house, the newest cat, named
Steve (for no particular
reason), became a very
photogenic little creature.
He has four females to deal
with but he is managing
fine. This image of Steve
occurred on a well-lit day
as he was scooting up and
down some carpeted stairs.
He was young in this image;
an image that has wonderful
qualities both
photographically and
spiritual. He is an
innocent animal in this
image, and for a few
moments, I think I might
have captured his essence in
the look he had as he looked
out to the world outside
through the doorway just out
of sight in the photograph.
Kittens are fearsome, yet
Steve seems laid back in
this image, an image that
happened quickly and
spontaneously. There are a
few others of this little
cat when he was young. This
was one of the first. Oh
yeah, Steve fetches sticks.
